A methodology of ride comfort analysis is presented for vehicles on long-span bridges.

The bridge, vehicles and wind excitations are directly coupled.

Vehicle ride comfort analysis adopts procedures in the current ISO standard.

The method features whole body vibration, frequency weighting and determining OVTV.

The influence of bridge motion, multi-vehicle and wind on ride comfort is assessed.
