Supply of labile C in quantities comparable to those found in root exudates was an important driver of the nematode community. Addition of labile C leads to an increase of bacterivorous and fungivorous nematodes. Supply of labile C leads to an increase of Acrobeloides, Plectus, Filenchus and Aphelenchoides. No major differences in nematode abundances were found between the different quantities of added glucose.
