Effect of incorporation of nanoparticles with different composition on wear and corrosion behavior of ceramic coatings developed on pure titanium by micro arc oxidation
Micro arc oxidized composite coatings were prepared using SiC, α-Al2O3 and TiO2 nanoparticles. The effect of particles compositions on characteristics of the coatings were investigated. The causes of development in wear and corrosion resistance of the composite coatings are discussed.
