Template-assisted hydrothermally obtained titania-ceria composites and their application as catalysts in ethyl acetate oxidation and methanol decomposition with a potential for sustainable environment protection
Mesoporous CeTi binary oxides prepared by template assisted hydrothermal method. Textural and structural variation by Ti/Ce and hydrothermal treatment temperature. Lower Ce/Ti and hydrothermal temperature promotes formation of finely dispersed CeO2. Higher Ce/Ti facilitates formation of partially substituted with Ti bulk ceria crystallites. Catalytic behavior control by Ce/Ti ratio and temperature of hydrothermal synthesis.
