Nutrient optimization for Arthrobacter AK19 was successfully performed. The biomass was 4.78 times higher than that from unoptimized condition. NaCl stress induced lipid content 3.34 times higher than normal condition. KMnO4 was proofed to be an alternative stress agent for the first time. KMnO4 stress induced lipid content 1.95 times higher than normal condition.
