Weighted least square-Levenberg-Marquardt method is presented to estimate heat transfer coefficients under large disturbance. Simulation experiment shows a correlation between different disturbances with the result of inverse heat conduction problem. The presented WLS-LM method can be extended to other complex industrial processes.
