We present a new path-following method for crack propagation in hyperelastic media. It provides an explicit formula of the JJ-integral for different propagation angles. It reconciles with the theory of configurational forces and Griffith’s balance. This arc-length can handle very sharp snap-back paths in the equilibrium curve. We present an example to fracture in large strains of graphene kirigami sheets.
