A ranking algorithm is proposed to investigate traffic demands and flow complexity. Traffic demand reflects the concentration of human movements. Flow complexity reflects the street network topology and turning traffic. The ranking algorithm captures the potential urban congestion zones. This study provides a network topological insight into street-scale urban mobility.
