Avocado trees are very sensitive to water shortage and salt stress. Bacterial consortia were inoculated in an avocado nursery under water shortage and salt stress. Inoculation increased growth and antioxidant activity and decreased cellular damage in avocado. Some bacterial consortia can be used to stress alleviation of avocado trees.
