Dialysis with continuous removal of urea enhanced renaturation of solubilized fructosyltransferase. Refolding depends predominantly on buffer’s ionic strength and less on buffer components. Buffer’s ionic strength of 600 mM yields complete renaturation at 10 mg/mL.
