Current and voltage requirement for alkaline water electrolysis have been estimated. Site specific solar irradiance data have been generated. Intrinsic performance parameters of the solar PV modules have been calculated. PV module performance and average hydrogen production rate have been correlated. Energy conversion and exergetic efficiencies of the modules have been obtained.
