The SECFR system was designed for removal of exhaust gas recirculation cooler fouling. For SECFR system, the droplet area ratio and droplet uniformity index were measured. The SECFR system was tested on a real engine condition. The heat transfer efficiency was increased due to the cleaning effect by SECFR system.
