The infrared photoacoustic spectra of Cordyceps sinensis showed typical absorptions. Cordyceps sinensis was significantly heterogeneous. Cordyceps sinensis was classified into four sections including head, body, tail and leaf. Cordyceps sinensi was well represented by the infrared photoacoustic spectra. Cordyceps sinensis was well identified by the infrared photoacoustic spectra.
