Nine RCTs examined the efficacy of cordyceps as adjuvant immunosuppressive agent. Graft rejection and patient survival were similar for both cordyceps and azathioprine arms. Limited evidence showed cordyceps improved kidney function and reduced complications. No study fulfilled the criteria for high quality of evidence to make recommendation.
