E-cigarette aerosol collected mass (ACM) was compared with 3R4F total particulate matter. E-cigarette and tobacco smoke aerosols were compared using an air agar interface methodology. When tested up to 2400 μg/plate, e-cigarette ACM was found to be negative in TA98 and TA100. E-cigarette aerosol was deemed negative in TA98 and TA100 after a 3 h direct aerosol exposure. Cigarette smoke TPM and Aerosol were deemed positive in both strains under assessment conditions.
