We introduce endo-permutation Mackey functors and the Mackey–Dade group of a p-group and study their basic properties. We exhibit relations between the Mackey–Dade group of a finite p-group P and the Dade groups of the Weyl groups of all subgroups of P . As a result, we show that the Mackey–Dade group tensored with class="mathmlsrc">class="formulatext stixSupport mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0021869316303179&_mathId=si1.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0021869316303179&_rdoc=1&_issn=00218693&md5=f2674ff3b712fa75054c6671445afeaf" title="Click to view the MathML source">Qclass="mathContainer hidden">class="mathCode"> over class="mathmlsrc">class="formulatext stixSupport mathImg" data-mathURL="/science?_ob=MathURL&_method=retrieve&_eid=1-s2.0-S0021869316303179&_mathId=si2.gif&_user=111111111&_pii=S0021869316303179&_rdoc=1&_issn=00218693&md5=1e373ade4c889a4d04a20c2415117c82" title="Click to view the MathML source">Zclass="mathContainer hidden">class="mathCode"> is the kernel of the linearization map for Mackey functors, introduced by the author.
