We tested the efficacy of the eCHECKUP TO GO on reducing alcohol risk factors and increasing protective behavioral strategies among high school students.
Female students participating in the intervention reported greater reductions in alcohol risk factors relative to the control group.
There were no group differences in changes in risk factors among males or in the use of protective behavioral strategies for males or females.
Results provide support for the eCHECKUP TO GO in reducing risk factors associated with alcohol use for females.
