The mineral content of 100 diverse sorghum genotypes were evaluated.
Genotypes presented high variability for P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn.
Water stress decreased Mn, P, Mg and S contents in 100, 96, 93 and 56% of genotypes.
2% of the genotypes were classified as excellent sources of Fe and 25% of Zn.
These genotypes may be used in biofortification programs to reduce mineral deficiency.
