The high surface energy of NiO {110} facets incorporated into TiO2 hollow microspheres by etching Ti plate for enhanced photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical activity
NiO/TiO2 hollow microspheres were fabricated by etching Ti plate. The incorporated NiO nanoparticles exposed high surface energy {110} facets. The p–n junction catalysts improved photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic activity. Using this synthesis strategy, other mixed semiconducting metal oxide microspheres.
