Electrochemical behaviour of polyaniline–polyurethane (PANi–PU) antifouling thick coating (∼1 mm) over a corrosion resistant aluminium alloy in 3.5 wt% NaCl, is studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
The effect of change of PANi content on the electrochemical behaviour of PANi–PU coating is studied and compared with neat PU.
The degradation of the coating in 3.5 wt% NaCl with time is studied by monitoring its electrochemical impedance spectra for a period of time.
