Highly-organized local structures called as “tygers” generate at the occurrence of shock waves governed by inviscid Burgers equation when using pseudo-spectral method.
It is found that the generation of a “tyger” is related to period-doubling bifurcation.
The formation of a “tyger” can also be understood by the stability loss of wave system.
The mechanism is revealed by studying eigenvalue problem derived from perturbed wave equation by the complex oscillator system.
Thermalized solution also appears with the breaking of “tygers”.
The process from a local structures to thermalization is a long-term transition.
