New trifluromethyl, diethylamino and marpholino derived coumarins were prepared using EDC.HCl as coupling agent. All the molecules were characterized using IR, NMR and UPLC analysis methods. Mesomorphic properties are evaluated by the combination of DSC and POM techniques. Trifluromethyl derivatives strongly favour to exhibit liquid crystal properties.
