Palladium catalysts supported on hydrogen titanate nanotubes (NT) were prepared.
Pd(II) acetate was adsorbed onto dried and calcined NT supports from CH2Cl2 solutions.
Supported Pd catalysts showed high activity in the Heck cross-coupling reaction.
Stability of the catalysts depended on the Pd loading and the support water content.
Leaching and readsorption of Pd species was observed during the Heck reaction.
