Presents prototype for cutting, sorting and bundling of harvested energy crops. Discusses the automated preparation of cuttings for planting purposes. Was tested in laboratory and industrial conditions using Salix and Populus spp. Experimental results demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of measurements. Cutting conditions can be customized according to user requirements.
