PHSF is employed to explore the effect of intersegmental interaction in crystalline lattice on the polymorphism. PHSF shows HF content-dependent polymorphism. PHSF shows crystallization temperature-dependent polymorphism. The intersegmental hydrogen bonding interaction is the crucial contribution to orthorhombic crystal. Orthorhombic crystal is more thermal stable than monoclinic crystal.
