BSAS-based coating is designed to improve oxidation resistance of C/SiC composites. Si and SiC effectively reduce micro-pores of the BSAS coating. Si and SiC improve bonding interface of the BSAS coating. BSAS + SiC coating shows high bond stability and excellent oxidation resistance.
