Environmental assessment of a pork-production system of Spain is conducted.
Different methods/indicators are used, focusing on feeding (data from a real farm).
The impact per market pig is 1524–2956 MJprim, 257–575 kg CO2.eq, 60–76 ReCiPe Pts.
Animal feed is the major part of the total impact feed/water/straw/transportation.
Critical issues (solutions for cleaner production, etc.) are also presented.
