Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (BMP4) was not localized in corticotroph cells in dogs. BMP4 was expressed in thyrotroph cells. BMP receptor II (BMPRII) was not localized in corticotroph cells in dogs. BMPRII was expressed in somatotroph cells and thyrotroph cells. BMP4 and BMPRII were not localized in corticotroph adenomas.
