Analytical solution of latent heat storage system consisting of cylindrical container.

The effect of volumetric heat generation on melting and solidification process is investigated.

The phase change is caused by outer convective heat and/or by heat generation in PCM.

The phase change material (PCM) can contains metallic particles of nanometric size.

The developed model is validated by comparing the obtained results with literature.
