Three immuno-diagnostic techniques were compared to detect porcine cysticercosis.
The sensitivity and specificity of two tests were estimated using a Bayesian approach.
Both tests showed sensitivity greater than 84%.
The B158B60 Ag-ELISA appeared to be more specific than the HP10 Ag-ELISA.
Porcine cysticercosis was detected in 2.3–2.6% of the pigs slaughtered in Antananarivo.
