Fatty acids were extracted with supercritical CO2 and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Extraction kinetic parameters were evaluated for the constant extraction rate period. Compressed LPG favored the extraction of higher amount of total oil at higher rates. Supercritical CO2 extracted oil more concentrated in fatty acids in most of the conditions. Oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids were some of the unsaturated fatty acids quantified.
