Enhanced adsorption of diclofenac sodium on the carbon nanotubes-polytetrafluorethylene electrode and subsequent degradation by electro-peroxone treatment
Carbon nanotubes-polytetrafluorethylene (CNTs-PTFE) electrode is prepared. Electrosorption rate and capacity of diclofenac sodium on anode are enhanced. All sorbed DS on CNTs-PTFE is degraded within 10 min by electro-peroxone. Complete mineralization of DS is achieved at 100 mA and 27 mg/L O3 after 1 h. The regenerated electrode has stable sorption for DS in five adsorption cycles.
