Mechanism of cluster dissolution of Yb-doped high-silica lanthanum aluminosilicate glass: Investigation by spectroscopic and structural characterization
The mechanism of cluster dissolution of Yb3+ by co-doping with La3+ was studied. The structure was studied systematically by NMR, FTIR, Raman and 2D-HYSCORE. The fluorescence intensity and lifetime of Yb increase with increasing La3+ content.
