Accumbal administration of a PDE7 inhibitor induces anxiolysis in rats. Peripheral administration of PDE7 inhibitor is anxiolytic or anorexigenic. Behavioral effects of PDE7 inhibition could be mediated by NAcc and PVN TRH.
