Composting spent coffee grounds (SCG) + Acacia debris originate hi-quality organic fertilizers. During composting of SCG mixtures a decrease in total phenolics and tannins contents occurred. During composting of SCG mixtures an important increase in gallic acid content occurred. Emissions of CH4 and N2O during composting of SCG are low and restricted to the thermophilic phase.
