The specific heats of five nanoparticles dispersed in 60:40 PG/W were measured.
Temperature range 243–363 K, particle volumetric concentration 0.5–6% and size 15–76 nm.
The particle size has no significant effect on the specific heat of nanofluids.
Existing specific heat correlations do not agree with the measured values.
A correlation was developed from 610 data points with an average deviation of −0.094%.
