Flake-like mesoporous NiCo2O4 was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method. The NiCo2O4-decorated reduced graphene oxide composites (NiCo2O4/rGO) were synthesized. The NiCo2O4/rGO composites were first used as the modified materials for the electrochemical determination of rutin.
