Impaired motor cortex plasticity is not invariable in untreated Parkinson's disease. Plasticity level of motor cortex may not contribute to early motor signs. Milder motor deficits linked to effective cerebellar modulation of motor plasticity. Motor cortex plasticity in denovo state can predict motor fluctuation at 4 years.
