Nonlinear inelastic analysis method of composite beams is developed. One 2-node beam-column element per member to simulate partial composite action. Tangent flexural and axial rigidity of cross-section are derived. Equivalent transverse shear stiffness has been derived using the energy relations. The influence of both partial composite action and shear-flexibility is studied.
