Ti(IV) (as Lewis acidic)functionalized Ti-CSMIP sorbent was prepared. An enlargement of pHpzc was found. Amorphous anatase of TiO2 formed in Ti-CSMIP sorbent. Electrostatic attraction and cation-π interaction play an important role.
