Rock residual strength σrσr and quality factor Q of rock salt are connected. Rock salt dependencies of strength and quality factor on fatigue loadings have minima. The minimum of strength and quality factor is defined by a dilation and compression. The results obtained can be applied to underground gas storages in salt massif.
