The intense fluid boiling promoted the porphyry Mo mineralization at Shizitou. The Mo mineralization was formed in the Late Jurassic period. CO2-poor fluids are different from Mo systems in the East Qinling-Dabie Orogen. The Shizitou deposit can be classified into the Endako type Mo deposit.
