Effects of comprehensive function of factors on retention behavior of microparticles in gravitational field-flow fractionation

This study is devoted to experimental verification of the effect of every factor and their comprehensive function.

In order to show the results of isolated influence of every factor and comprehensive function of four factors, single factor tests and orthogonal experimental designs were performed. The orthogonal design test was used to evaluate various factors comprehensively.

On the basis of orthogonal design test it was found that viscosity of carrier liquid plays a significant role in determining resolution of micrometer-sized particles in GrFFF.
