Pharmacokinetic study based on a matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization quadrupole ion trap time-of-flight imaging mass microscope combined with a novel relative exposure approach: A case of octreotide in mouse target tissues
iMScope was first validated and applied to visualize drug dynamics. A novel relative exposure was developed for pharmacokinetic study. The octreotide transport process from mucosal to muscle was imaged. The distribution and elimination of octreotide was studied in vivo.
