The most likely location of damage was studied on an experimental beam. The localization procedure was based on a sequence of statistical procedures. Damage detection corresponds to the localization of damage at small levels. The mechanism relies on signal denoising of a set of repeat measurements. Statistical analysis was performed to assess significant changes on selected features.
