Oxime chemistry-mediated covalent capturing on electrode surface with guanidinium recognition and application for aldolase activity assay

A new strategy has been introduced for the fabrication of electrochemical biosensor. The strategy is based on the covalent capturing of molecules on electrode interface through oxime chemistry. Guanidinium recognization contributes to the excellent performance of the electrochemical biosensor. The strategy has been applied for the detection of aldolase activity. The established biosensor may be extended to other substances with chemoselective groups.
