For accurate plasma diagnostics for laser-induced plasma, taking the Cu I spectral lines produced by the laser-induced copper plasma as an example, we testify that the Cu I 521.82 nm spectra line to be optically thick, and we discuss the method for temperature diagnostics under the condition of optically thick. Some important conclusions are drawn. This discussion will be significant for spectral diagnostics for in laser-induced plasma.
