Size effect and boundary scattering greatly affect thermal conductivities of TMDs. Thermal conductivities of sulfides and selenides possess abnormal mass dependency. Rapid increase phonon relaxation time and frequency gap result in abnormal trend. Our studies provide important information for thermal transport abilities in TMDs.
