We evaluated the association of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) with calcium hydroxide (CH) on the pH and antimicrobial action against Enterococcus faecalis. The association of NSAIDs or antibiotics did not interfere with the pH of CH paste. Diclofenac sodium promotes the antimicrobial action of CH against E. faecalis.
