Thermodynamic modeling of liquid-liquid phase change solvents for CO2 capture

Extended UNIQUAC framework is used to model the liquid-liquid phase change solvents (DEEA and MAPA) for CO2 capture.

The studied systems are: H2O-DEEA-CO2, H2O-MAPA-CO2, and H2O-DEEA-MAPA-CO2.

The developed model accurately represents all the equilibrium and thermal data with a single unique set of parameters.

Liquid-liquid equilibrium (de-mixing) is reproduced satisfactorily by the model.

Model calculated speciation for the studied systems are also presented.
